“You can die from someone else's misery - emotional states are as infectious as disease. The unfortunate sometimes draw misfortune to themselves; they will also draw it onto you.”
Robert Greene - 48 laws of power
In the book 48 laws of power by Robert Greene, law number 10 states: Avoid the Unhappy and Unlucky. The law is about how people are extremely susceptible to the moods and attitudes of others, and it would be wise to avoid falling into this trap. There are people who inflict pain upon themselves without there being any reason. Looking at it through this perspective, a mood is an infection. In fact a very powerful infection, it is also mentioned in the art of seduction that the way you act can be transmuted on the person you are trying to seduce. What is important to note is that it works the other way around as well, if you actively seek out the people who have the qualities you lack, through repetition and observation you will be as skilled as they are.
In the book The laws of human nature by Robert Greene there is chapter number 8, titled: “change your circumstances by changing your attitude”, in this book the author goes into different infections (moods, attitudes) a person can have, so going back to the 48 laws of power, this chapter lists all the people you should avoid. The attitudes you should avoid are: the hostile attitude, the anxious attitude, the avoidant attitude, the depressive attitude, the resentful attitude.

It is usually a person with deep childhood traumas and insecurities, they have the image that everyone around them is evil and fuel that image by being evil in return.
They are adept at stirring anger and resentment.
The anxious attitude
People who suffer with this attitude are fearful of everything that could happen, to fix their anxiety they narrow down what can go wrong. Often they need to feel the need to be in charge of everything. It can often be mistaken for love, but it is merely manipulation.
The avoidant attitude
