The best piece of advice anyone can give you is to go out into the real world. We, our generation, are stuck in the virtual and fake fantasies we consume daily. If you are reading this article it is a sign that you like books, self-improvement, etc.. But what the writers and the mentors do not tell you is that without real life experience, their methods are useless to you. You have nothing to imagine behind the words you read. Nothing to put into perspective. You may think that a law from the 48 laws of power is so cool, but you don't quite understand it the way you would like to. It is because you lack experience with the outside world and how other people operate. Putting yourself into the real world, observing, questioning and adapting will (in today's world) put you in an unimaginable advantage. It is so easy to stand out and be unique in this generation. Everyone is stuck inside their own fantasies, refusing to focus on the outside world for even a brief moment. Be the person who is attentive and realize the immense power it holds. Here are some tips to follow.
When an opportunity occurs, take it
Most of us are afraid of leaving our comfort zone, it is way too scary to try new things and meet new people. Our generation is addicted to consuming and spending their time in comfort. Stand out and whenever some opportunity, you would normally decline, exposes itself: accept. You will bring your whole mind to life, it is going to feel refreshing and new. Most likely it is going to teach you a thing or two, and you will grow less anxious of new things and opportunities. To take this theory into the extreme, you should deliberately put yourself into situations that you cannot win, to endure and dig out the most you can. Find pleasure in adversity and enjoy the pain that life will throw in you way
